I am an instructional designer, learning strategist, and curriculum developer with experience designing learning solutions across higher education, healthcare, and corporate environments. My work integrates educational psychology, adult learning principles, instructional design, performance consulting, and thoughtful use of technology to create learning experiences that are meaningful, engaging, accessible, and aligned with both learner needs and organizational goals.

A significant part of my career has been rooted in education, where I have worked across three colleges and universities supporting curriculum development, instructional design, faculty and learner needs, online and blended learning, assessment, and the effective use of learning technologies. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the unique demands of academic environments, from translating subject-matter expertise into well-structured learning experiences to balancing instructional rigor, learner engagement, accessibility, and measurable outcomes.

In corporate and organizational settings, I apply that same foundation through a performance-focused lens, identifying learning and performance gaps, partnering with stakeholders and subject-matter experts, and developing practical solutions that help employees build capability and perform more effectively on the job.

Using methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, Backward Design, and Design Thinking, I develop instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced learning solutions. I design learning experiences around authentic, real-world challenges that encourage active participation and help learners build the knowledge, skills, judgment, and confidence needed to succeed.  I also develop balanced, authentic assessments that measure foundational knowledge, core competencies, task performance, decision-making, and the application of learning in real-world situations.
